Senegal/Sicily: Homecomings has been selected for the all digital 2020 edition of the SVA Film & Media Festival. The Society for Visual Anthropology The Society for Visual Anthropology (SVA) is a section of the American Anthropological Association and promotes the study of visual representation and media.

A Touching Sight has been selected to be part of On Art Film Festival, in Poland, the biggest open-air festival in Central Europe.

 

The festival will last all summer, from July 3 to September 6, and will take place simultaneously in eleven Polish cities - Warsaw, Krakow, Łódź, Bydgoszcz, Wrocław, Toruń, Gdańsk, Sopot, Kielce, Rzeszów and Katowice. 

 

A Touching Sight will have several screenings starting with the audiovisual room at the Art Propaganda Center in Łódź between 11.00-18.00 on July 9, 2020.

UPDATE: A Touching Sight received a Honoroble Mention at On Art Film Festival. Check the list with all the winners of this edition.

A Touching Sight has been included in the official selection of

Dis-Ability Film Festival organized by Western Colorado University. Due to the Covid-19 emergency, the festival will be held virtually and the selected films are available for streaming.

A Touching Sight tells the story of VIBE ( Voyage Inside a Blind Experience), an exhibition by Atlante Servizi Culturali designed to give access to blind and partially sighted people to the art of Josef and Anni Albers.
